just read over a few times and let it sink in, and enjoy the language:
seething brains and shaping fantasies. Note that shaping is an
adjective here. And the stuff these lovers and madmen deal with
needs to be apprehended, as if it were an elusive criminal. Think
about it.

Is comprehends a verb or something else? I don't understand the last line.
Ahhh, good one. There's a PB typo there. Should say 'More than cool reason ever comprehends.' That make a little more sense? Ever, not every. I'll fix it directly. Thanks for catching that.
